Ringling College Students Volunteer Time To Make Change
Ringling College Students Refurbish Habitat Sarasota ReStore.
Recently, seventy-plus Ringling School of Art & Design college students arrived bright and early, volunteering to paint Habitat for Humanity’s 17th ReStore location.
This is not the first time Ringling Students have shown up in masses to volunteer for Habitat. Last year during Orientation, students painted the large mural on front of Habitat’s Clearance Center facing 17th Street which explains to passers-by how the cycle of giving helps Habitat place families in homes
Ringling Students bring fresh ideas and high energy every time they volunteer. “They bring their willingness to give of their time, share their creativity and they do this so well.” said Renee Snyder, Executive Director of Habitat Sarasota.
