Carol Myers, owner of STAGE ONE Home Showcasing, has relocated her business from White Plains, NY, to Sarasota, FL. As a home stager she works with Realtors and their clients, as well as directly with home owners, before they list a home, to prepare the home for a quicker and more profitable sale.
“Home staging creates a setting in which buyers can see themselves living,” Myers says. “The purpose of home staging is to present the house in a light that will draw in potential buyers. You only have a few seconds while the buyer’s mind is still open to make a good first impression and show the buyer what the home has to offer.”
Her services also extend to the exterior of the home. “The approach to the home is most likely the first thing a potential buyer sees,” Myers says. “It can be a determining factor as to whether or not the buyer is interested in seeing the inside of the home.”
