Susie and Barbie have been battling for their lives with Ovarian Cancer for the past 4 years. The medical bills as you can imagine are astronomical and neither of these special women are able to work anymore to support themselves.
Barbie also has a teenage son she fears she may be leaving to complete his last year of high school without her support and guidance, she wants desperately to leave him a little seed money to get started into college.
And Susie is fighting with the insurance companies because she doesn’t quite qualify for public assistance with all her medical bills. She said to me, “As long as I can pay my Oncologist then I have hope!” Susie has always been so generous in giving back to many fundraising causes, The Children’s Miracle Network, her Pink Angel Boutique & Save the Ta Ta’s, Susan G Komen were 3 of her biggest causes!
