CHARITY Alan & Stephanie Rodriguez: Alan is a successful photographer, has Wilson disease, a genetic disorder that is fatal unless detected and treated before serious illness from copper poisoning develops. Alan’s wife, Stephanie, shares, “This past summer Alan had a set back after 26 years of being stable, because he was unable to tolerate the medication that is needed daily to keep the copper from accumulating.” At that point the doctors were talking about preparing him for a transplant. With lots of prayer, finding a different form of zinc that’s more tolerable and maintaining an organic food lifestyle he has been recovering. But the doctor and hospital bills are still there. Let’s help them move forward.
