Sarasota/Manatee Children Back In School. It can be hard to adjust from the dog days of summer to the busy and fast pace of the school year but believe it or not, summer is almost over and the school year is about to begin. Students in Sarasota and Manatee Counties will be heading back Monday, August 13th, 2018. The start of school means a significant increase in kids on our roadways.
