KNOB Attack – Bluetooth Vulnerability Exposes Data To Hackers. A group of researchers has discovered a critical Bluetooth vulnerability that leaves tons of wireless devices exposed to digital intrusions. The Bluetooth SIG, an organization that oversees the technology’s standards, has issued a security notice for what the researchers are calling Key Negotiation of Bluetooth or KNOB attack. Equifax Data Breach Part II. Ashley Moody, Florida’s Attorney General, warns of new phishing scam targeting people victimized by the credit monitoring company, Equifax’s, previous data breach. The Equifax settlement set up a $425 million fund to help those affected by the 2017 data breach that impacted nearly half of all Americans.
