2019 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. Who Took The Honors?
Concours founder and chairman Bill Warner, a small paid staff and 600 volunteers set up the annual Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance classic car event at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island and the Golf Club of Amelia Island. What a show it was. Sunny skies and fabulous automobiles; creations of art, made up the show.
“The judges told me they really struggled with it,” Warner said (Amelia Concours Founder). “But when you look at the two Best of Shows, the Ferrari 335S and Autobahn Courier, it had to be those two. There were fabulous cars here, but these are terrific. They are just the best of the best.”
An estimated 10,000-plus fans checked out the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance under sunny skies, while it was estimated that 20,000+ visited concours events and auctions all over Amelia Island.

The Ringling is excited to announce that the galleries of The Original Circus Museum are now open to the public after an extensive renovation. Visitors will be able to view reinterpreted displays of historic circus wagons, costumes, and the Ringling’s private railcar – The Wisconsin – in the historic galleries.
“Chick” Austin, The Ringling’s first director, opened the circus museum in 1948; it was the first museum in the country to document the rich history of the American Circus. Today, The Circus Museum is comprised of the Tibbals Learning Center, The Ringling Archives, and The Original Circus Museum.

Sarasota and Manatee single family home, condo and townhome sales – including distressed sales.
December saw single-family home sales increase over 2018, pushing sales volume up almost 24% to $275 million in Sarasota, while Manatee County saw a 11% increase to $214 million. Single family inventory is slightly down in both counties, about 10%. Year over year condo sales were down 27%, totaling $90 million in Sarasota, while Manatee was down 19%, for total sales of $44 million.
