Ringling College To Host Jenny Medved’s Art. Jenny Medved (Class of 2004) is a figurative artist & illustrator based in Sarasota, Florida. Originally from Atlanta, Medved relocated to Florida in 2000 to attend Ringling College where she obtained her BFA in Illustration. Medved holds an MFA in Figurative Painting from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where she studied under Zack Zdrale, William Whitaker and Warren Chang. She also studied traditional portraiture at the Florence Academy of Art, in Florence, Italy.
