Peter Laughlin and his firm Laughlin Luxury Lifestyles has formed a partnership with Signature Sotheby’s. Laughlin, one of the area’s established luxury real estate broker and developer of custom homes, will serve as director of global sales leading the firm’s new international initiative to market properties abroad.
As part of this new initiative, Laughlin will focus on promoting properties listed with Signature Sotheby’s International Realty, as well as the greater Sarasota area, to select international markets and showcasing them to potential buyers in those locals.
“Our international marketing initiative is not limited to the internet. We will focus our plan of action to reach prospective buyers in their countries, in their homes,” says Laughlin. “To do this, we will host actual outreach events in select international markets that are home to buyers who have an interest, or would be attracted to the Sarasota region, as well as countries that offer certain advantages, such as good exchange rates. In the coming months, some of the locations we will be targeting include cities such as Toronto, Montreal, London and Moscow.”
Originally from Trinidad, Laughlin has more than 35 years of experience in the real estate industry on both a local and international level and has been involved in the development, construction, marketing and promotion of single family homes and resort properties in Sarasota, the Caribbean and Europe. In 1990, Laughlin came to Sarasota and formed Laughlin Luxury Lifestyles, which is known for creating one-of-a-kind homes nestled in the finest neighborhoods on Florida’s Gulf Coast.
