It seems like we just began but six issues are behind us and May marks our seventh issue. Some individuals and firms are taking time off as their season ended with Easter while others are looking forward to the summer season. Seasonality or not the bulk of REAL Magazine’s distribution reaches non-transient individuals.

We touched last month on REAL Magazine’s significant efforts in building our web presence. Beyond premium placement in search engine rankings the site provides featured guests and advertisers numerous benefits. Our online readership continues to grow 200% month over month with search engines providing 50% of the traffic. 70% of this phenomenal growth continues to be first time viewers. Visitor’s time on the site still surpasses 3.5 minutes per visit across all visitors. Regarding REAL’s web content we’ve had direct inquiries on featured properties and comments as far away as Paris. It truly is the World Wide Web.

Subscribers to REAL Magazine’s RSS feed continue to grow. Anytime an entry is made on the REAL web site an email or feed is sent to the subscription base. You can sign up by clicking on the orange icon in the upper right corner of REAL Magazine’s home page. We are posting additional information and stories not found in print. For example; last month’s story on John Ringling’s Wisconsin rail car contains contributions from the Pullman archive library while the features on Plymouth Harbor and Jacaranda V contain additional photos. The online news column runs many stories not featured in print.

In April we began hosting and indexing our print ads on the web site. Since that time the print ad category view is the second most visited page on the site. In fact the following ads are in the top 40 most viewed pages on the site at the time we went to print: Certified Luxury Home Specialist Seminar, Arthur Rutenberg Homes/M. Pete McNabb, Plymouth Harbor on Sarasota Bay, Deborah Beacham/Michael Saunders & Company, Florida Builder Appliances and Debra Pitell/Michael Saunders & Company.
