[1]Tom Hedge, Sr. Of Signature Sotheby’s Receives NAR’s Green Designation.
Tom Hedge, Sr., a Realtor® with Signature Sotheby’s, recently was awarded the Green Designation by the National Association of Realtors® (NAR). NAR’s Green Designation is the only environmental real estate designation covering multiple specialties. It is also the only green designation for agents and property managers recognized by NAR.
Armed with a construction and environmental engineering background, Hedge, Sr. possesses an understanding of condominiums and commercial properties found throughout Sarasota. Prior to his 20+ year real estate career he owned a Commercial HVAC company in New Jersey. Hedge, Sr. is a licensed contractor and has designed and built several homes and a commercial building, as well as renovated numerous homes in the Sarasota area. He also holds the Condominium Association Management license, which he has used serving as President of an association at Golden Gate Point.
Community service includes serving on the Board of Directors at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota where he chaired the committee to build a new 30,000 square foot building for the children. He also volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, and the Arts Council.
