Lakewood Ranch Commercial Realty announced that Don and Gale Whitson-Schmidt will open Katy Rose Oilery on Lakewood Ranch Main Street. Katy Rose Oilery is scheduled to open September 4, 2009.
Katy Rose Oilery features high quality olive oils and balsamic vinegars from around the world. All oil and vinegar products will be available for tasting from fustis (stainless steel containers that resemble large milk cans). When customers select the products they wish to purchase, the oils and vinegars will be bottled on site to preserve freshness and ensure consistency
Katy Rose Oilery will also offer additional products complementing the Mediterranean theme: pasta, sauces, wines, bread and lotions and soaps made from olive oil to name a few.
