[1]Republican Party Of Florida’s Quarterly Meeting Attended By Robin DiSabatino.
The Republican Party of Florida held its quarterly meeting in Orlando this past weekend. Drive the Discussion was a catalyst to get individuals talking about Republicans and Democrats, the direction the nation is headed, and their perceptions of political parties. U.S. track and field Olympic Gold Medalist, motivational speaker, and television personality Bruce Jenner keynoted the event. The session also featured former Miss California and Miss USA first runner up Carrie Prejean and author and political commentator Jonathan Krohn. The crowd was also treated to commentary by Florida Governor Charlie Crist, Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty and candidate for Florida Governor Bill McCollum.
[2]Robin states “The event had amazing energy, great speakers, was full of information, focused on getting the younger voter involved and engaged as well as reaching out to voters of all ages. Issues like health care, fiscal responsibility and balancing the federal budget just like municipalities and states are doing were met head on.”
