Lakewood Ranch Communities announced that Candice McElyea has joined the marketing and communications team as public relations and promotions manager. At Lakewood Ranch Communities, McElyea will work on all public relations, media and advertising campaigns while assisting the media with information about the ranch.
McElyea is a Lakewood Ranch resident with sales, marketing and management experience, including a strong media background. “Not only does Candice bring solid sales and marketing experience to our team, but her background as a news reporter rounds out her credentials and we know she will excel at promoting Lakewood Ranch throughout the community” said Miranda Oswald, vice president of sales and marketing for Lakewood Ranch. “I feel so fortunate to not only be joining such a great team of professionals,” said McElyea, “but to also have the opportunity to promote an organization that I passionately believe represents the epitome of the perfect place to live and work!”
McElyea is a graduate of Riverview High School in Sarasota and the University of Florida and started her professional career at SNN6 as a television news reporter. She later became a top producing new home sales professional and manager for Lennar Homes in Sarasota. Most recently McElyea worked as a sales and marketing trainer for Comcast in Sarasota.
