With its brightly hued color palette  and distinctively modern architecture, the Penn Station complex offers 61,500 square feet of flexible office space and showrooms, along with abundant parking. Designed by local architect George Palermo, the project was managed by J.E. Charlotte Construction, a Southwest Florida-based firm specializing in retail and medical commercial construction.

Current tenants include BEP Holdings, Scott Signs, Tempus Electronic Lifestyles and Topaz Design Group. Penn Station is located just north of the Sarasota-Bradenton Airport one block off Tallevast Road between 15th Street and US 41 at 7501 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Jeff Charlotte, president of J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp., is extremely pleased with the success of the Penn Station project. “It is definitely eye-catching with a hip, contemporary feel,” he said. “Despite a stagnant real estate market, this building has attracted a lot of attention from businesses who want to lease space. We’re expecting to be completely full by the time construction is complete, which is pretty remarkable during such a tough economic time. I think in this case, the location is very desirable, the space plan is adaptable in its ability to accommodate different types of businesses, there’s more than ample parking and the whole building is just unique to the area, which makes it very attractive.”
