Coral Pleas and her Cutting Loose stylists recently returned from New York City where they participated in the aristocracy of the salon industry meeting at The Waldorf-Astoria. Intercoiffure America/Canada (ICA) held its annual Atelier New York gathering of its elite membership to network and celebrates their craft. Cutting Loose is a full-service salon offering today’s most exclusive product lines including Paul Mitchell, Bumble & Bumble and Eufora. The salon offers hair styles for both male and female with color choices to match any personality.
Cutting Loose not only participated in demonstrating their craft but they were able to learn first hand from stylist Nick Arrojo, and others. Arrojo’s hour-long presentation, “underground,” which included a demonstration as well as a choreographed show, forecast trends in hair, fashion and style. “The presentation was so well done that we’ll be able to immediately integrate some of the latest techniques for our customers.” Said Cutting Loose owner Pleas.
Pleas sits on the board of Intercoiffure Mondial, an international organization of the best hairdressers and she travelsfrequently to learn new techniques to bring back to her clients.
