[1]REAL September Networking Event: 4141 Higel Avenue, Siesta Key.
Stepping out in style REAL Magazine’s September networking meeting was held on the island paradise of Siesta Key. Graciously hosted by Signature Sotheby’s Schemmel Property Group, the event began with a five property trolley tour, taking guests on a journey through some of Siesta’s most impressive listings. Everyone gathered at the Higel Avenue estate for an enchanting evening of great food provided by Doug Hitchings with Fun with Food, along with refreshing Szambelan Vodka, and a spectacular fashion show by Saks Fifth Avenue. Ed Bertha, publisher of REAL Magazine, provided the group with a quick presentation on the successful distribution of the magazine. The event sponsors were introduced including: Innovative Agent Services, Berlin Law Firm, The Penny Hill Group, Showcase Designs, and Szambelan Vodka. Joel Schemmel from The Schemmel Property Group then gave an overview of the Higel estate. Following Schemmel Giovanni Lunardi, a renowned international photographer who will be contributing to future editions of REAL Magazine, was introduced. Marla Doss the executive director of Community Haven for Adults and Children with Disabilities gave an insightful presentation on their outstanding community organization. The silent auction benefiting Community Haven raised $1,350. The September networking meeting was a great end to a wonderful summer, combining a brilliant tropical atmosphere with stunning fashions, and a remarkable collection of REAL leaders in the industry.
