The Ritz-Carlton Members Club hosted the second annual REAL, Ritz and Ringling event October 30th. A much anticipated gathering Ed Bertha welcomed the crowd and thanked Leslie Cornell Anders, Membership Director, for the club. Leslie informed the attendees of the club’s special agent referral program. Bertha then introduced and turned the event over to Pamela Hughes, President of Hughes Design Associates, whose interior design at The Ritz-Carlton, Members Club and The Tower Residences was significantly influenced by her visits to The Ringling Museum.

McCarty took the crowd back to 1920’s narrating and sharing historic black & white photography of Ca’d’Zan’s construction. The construction photos were nicely offset with current color renditions of Ca’d’Zan as it is today.

Next up Hughes introduced Dr. Larry Thompson, President of The Ringling College of Art + Design. Dr. Thompson led the group through his Top Ten list of what is new at the college including being recognized as one of the top ten “innovation and design schools” in the U.S. by Businessweek Magazine. The list certainly put college’s many contributions to the community into perspective. The meeting then adjourned and the guests were invited to view $15 million of Coldwell Banker agent Judy Kepecz-Hays’ Ritz-Carlton Tower Residences listings.
