Signature Sotheby’s International Realty announced that Sales Associate Carolyn Barker Collins was awarded the Short Sales and Foreclosure designation (SFR) after completing the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) curriculum.
The Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council of NAR offers the SFR certification program. The program includes training on how to manage foreclosure, short-sale and real-estate owned transactions. It also provides resources to help REALTORS® stay current on national and state-specific information as the market for these distressed properties continues to evolve.
“As a REALTOR® in today’s market, it is important to understand the nuances of short sales and foreclosures in order to provide both sellers and buyers the information they need to navigate this challenging process.
