Neal Communities Starts The Year On A Positive Note

2010 began with strong sales for Neal Communities. In January the home builder signed 24 contracts for new homes, 25% over the company’s budgeted goal. The sales covered all price points. Sales were seen in Greystone in The Lakewood Ranch Country Club, where home prices begin in the high $400,000s, River Sound, Mandalay, Wisteria Park, Edenmore and Silverwood and more. Of note there are fewer than ten home sites available in the Mandalay neighborhood and only two sites left in Wexford in The Lakewood Ranch Country Club.

“This kind of sales performance signals that the local economy continues to improve,” states Pat Neal, president of Neal Communities.  “We are seeing sales in Greystone and Silverwood, our most expensive neighborhoods. This indicates that consumers have re-gained confidence and are willing to invest in their futures. They are voting with their dollars.”

“As we complete these neighborhoods, we are preparing to open a new village in Lakewood Ranch,” notes Sales Director David Hunihan. “The timing is right for Central Park to come on line in July. Inventory in Lakewood Ranch has declined, and this is exactly the kind of home and neighborhood that is in great demand.”
