Xena Vallone Realty’s Ron Gordon and Reneé Marquiss have earned the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resources (SFR) certification, announced Broker/Owner Xena Vallone. Vallone also holds the SFR designation.

[3]Completing the SFR program provides Gordon and Marquiss with the expertise to helping buyers and sellers navigate these complicated transactions. Offered by the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the program includes training on how to qualify sellers for short sales, negotiate with lenders, protect buyers and manage risk.
According to NAR’s recent survey, nearly one-third of all existing homes sold recently were either short sales or foreclosures. “As demand grows for expertise in short sales and foreclosure transactions, and as new federal programs are introduced to deal with distressed properties, the need for knowledgeable professionals is obvious,” Vallone said.
