More than 100 attendees gathered to preview the fresh couture offerings at the newly opened Contessa Couture in Venice, Florida. Attending guests were escorted upstairs for hors d’oeuvres and Champaign before a runway show. The fashion show included over 12 of Contessa Couture‘s neighbors who are customers and friends of the store. Each model was fitted in three ensembles featuring the latest fashions from cruise wear to white tie couture. The event was organized and emceed by boutique owner Badra Nanayakkara, Linda Gross of Advice and Contessa Couture‘s staff.
[2]A gold ribbon was stretched between the Venetian style columns in front of the store for the formal ribbon cutting and official opening of the location. Venice Mayor, Ed Martin, attended and stated that this was a not-to-miss event in town.
