Neal Communities Almost Selling One Home A Day In 2010

A real estate rebound in Manatee and Sarasota is supported by Neal Communities 2010 performance. The home builder has signed 47 contracts year to date, in all price points, equating to about one home per business day. Furthermore, visitor activity for the year is also strong with more than 1,600 guests touring Neal models.

“Sales in the $1 Million range show me that the astute buyers are back in the market. They are buying luxury and second homes,” explains Neal Communities’ President Pat Neal. “We know that nationwide, new home sales are still struggling, but clearly, we are leading the way here.”
 
Neal Communities has experienced great success with homes priced in the ‘workforce’ range, especially in River Sound Neal’s newest community. The community celebrated its one-year anniversary in February and has already sold 111 of the 182 available homes. Most homes in this gated community on the Braden River are selling for less than $200,000.

 “We are continuing to build quality homes at attractive price points. People are demanding value when looking to buy a home,” states Neal Communities’ Sales Director David Hunihan. “Considering the overwhelming sales in our existing communities, we are confident that Central Park in Lakewood Ranch will also be an amazing success. The timing is ideal.”
           
Central Park is the newest Lakewood Ranch village and is opening in July, 2010. It features many of the popular home styles that were introduced in River Sound. The 800 home neighborhood is located north of State Road 70 and east of Lakewood Ranch Boulevard.
