Sarasota County Commissioners will honor Sarasota-based home builder and philanthropist Lee Wetherington with a proclamation declaring May 25 as “Lee Wetherington Day.” This is in recognition of his many contributions to the community over the years. The event is open to the public and friends are welcome to attend. It will be televised live on Channel 19 (Comcast) or Channel 32 (Verizon) and streamed on www.scgov.net [2].

Time: 9 a.m. The commissioners present proclamations immediately following the Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.
