Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate’s Parent Company, NRT LLC, Gets #1 Ranking.

Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, Florida, announced today that its parent company, NRT LLC, was again ranked the No. 1 residential real estate brokerage firm. The firm was ranked No. 1 in the U.S. in RISMedia’s 22nd annual Power Broker Report. The reports is available online at http://rismedia.com/ and appears in the April 2010 issue of RIS Media’s Real Estate magazine. This is the thirteenth consecutive year in which NRT earned the top spot nationwide for both closed sales volume and closed transaction sides, posting approximately $107 billion in closed sales volume and handing 274,179 sides.

If ranked separately, Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate in Florida would have been the 4th largest residential brokerage company on the Power Broker list last year based on number of transaction sides completed. With 87 offices and 4,800 sales professionals serving Florida, Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, Florida accounted for $7.95 billion in closed sales volume and 38,975 closed transaction sides in 2009. A transaction side is either the buyer side or the seller side in a real estate transaction. Brokerage companies receive commissions from representation of either one or both sides of a transaction.
