[1]A Tropical 4th Of July Celebration at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens.
Live music by Yesterdaze will highlight Marie Selby Botanical Gardens’ popular Tropical Fourth of July Celebration. The event is Sunday evening, July 4th on Selby’s beautiful bay front grounds.
Festivities start at 6:00pm. Children’s games will take place on the south lawn along with face painting. Prizes will be awarded for the best patriotic attire. The evening will culminate at nightfall in a spectacular community fireworks display along the bay front.
All-American cookout fare along with beer, wine, soda and water will be available for purchase. No food, beverages or coolers are allowed into the Gardens for this special event. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
Tickets are $15.00 for Selby Gardens’ members, $18.00 for non-members and children 11 and under are admitted free. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.selby.org [2] starting June 15th, or visit the Selby Gardens’ Welcome Center at 900 South Palm Avenue, Sarasota, Florida from 10:00am-4:30pm. Proceeds from this event help to further the mission of the Gardens.
