The South Florida Museum announces EcoNow! – a full slate of museum programming focused on the environment, ecological systems, and the natural world.  EcoNow! encourages visitors to “Rediscover Your World through science, cinema, and exploration”.  The museum will bring together experts, resources, films and exhibits to explore these topics in an engaging thought provoking manner.

econow [2]The programming lineup for EcoNow! includes 5 months of Science Cafés, the Summer ’10 film series: Life on Earth, Snooty’s 62nd Birthday and Wildlife Awareness Festival on July 17th, Masters of the Night: The True Story of Bats – a special, temporary exhibit on display until September, and the September Family Night at the Museum: Gone Batty. Additionally, the museum offers a wide range of resources in our permanent exhibits and daily programs which allow visitors to explore the ecological systems of Florida.
 
The South Florida Museum is the largest natural and cultural history museum on Florida’s west coast and is one of the oldest operating museums in the State of Florida.
