Neal Communities was ranked #126 nationally, based on 2009 revenues on BUILDER Magazine’s list of top builders in the country. Ranked in the ‘Next 100’ category, Neal Communities, with 176 closings last year, marked an 11 percent increase for 2009’s closings. Revenues totaled $64 Million. Earlier this year, Hanley Wood Market Intelligence (HWMI) ranked Neal Communities as the number one home builder in Sarasota-Bradenton based on the number of closings for the past 12 months.
“This is significant for us because it shows that we are competitive nationally, as well as locally. We attribute the success to creating an excellent product that meets consumer demands, increasing our efficiencies, staying focused on our mission and maintaining a positive approach,” states Neal Communities President Pat Neal.
Neal Communities was singled out in the publication as a company that “…proved that buyers could be located anywhere from St. George, Utah….and Bradenton, Fla. (Neal).” The Lakewood Ranch-based home builder was also noted for its ability to nimbly shift its focus to homes that have greater appeal to today’s families. Styles, designs, sizes and price ranges fit the desires of the new home buyers.
