John Cannon Homes was recently included in an honor roll of the area’s top 59 highest grossing companies compiled by Sarasota business publication, biz941. The list is comprised of local companies that gross more than $20 million in annual revenues. John Cannon Homes was ranked 53rd, with 2009 revenues totaling $28 million, out of a field of 59 businesses making up the list. In the 2008 list, John Cannon Homes was ranked 44 out of 89 local businesses.
“Currently revenue as of June 30, 2010 is up 16%,” said John Cannon, President of John Cannon Homes. “We’ve stuck with our core business during the downturn, but we’ve adjusted our pricing. We’ve adjusted our product and became very tight with our budget. That in combination with 42 homes in the works and a new model opening this month in Country Club East, should enable us to have a better year in 2010,” he added.
