Sales Sizzle This Summer At Neal Communities And Central Park

July is typically a slow month for local home sales, however the sales team at Neal Communities is selling homes at their best pace in 15 months. Of the 35 new contracts written in July, 24 were in Lakewood Ranch’s newly opened Central Park.

Over 8,000 people have visited Central Park since its grand opening on July 17th. “Central Park was clearly the best grand opening of the 54 community openings the company has ever conducted,” said Neal Communities’ President Pat Neal. “The community design, amenities, attention to the land plan and the organization of the sales team made it a resounding success.”

Central Park is the first residential village north of State Road 70 in Lakewood Ranch and ideally located off of Lakewood Ranch Blvd, across from the YMCA, LECOM and Lakewood Ranch High School. The fully-gated community is being developed by Neal Communities and includes homes built by Neal Communities and Bruce Williams Homes.

There are roughly 800 green-certified homes planned for the community in six neighborhoods across 380 acres. The community features preserve areas, six restored wetlands, walking trails, new trees, wetland grasses, bushes, shrubs, aquatic plants and a storm water re-use system. The centerpiece is a grand, 10-acre park with a ball field, splash fountain, pavilion, play area and two dog parks.

“Central Park seems to appeal to everyone — families with children, empty nesters and singles. We’ve had a significant mix of buyers,” said Neal Communities Sales Director David Hunihan. “The sales team of Jonnie Dwyer, Nancy Rowe and Laura Stavola has done a phenomenal job showcasing the community and helping buyers get into the homes that are best for their lifestyles and situations.”
