Nancy von Lazar, a Realtor with Prudential Palms Realty, was the recipient of an honorable mention award for a photo she took and submitted to the current “Outside Looking In” exhibition at the Art Center Sarasota entitled “Vanishing”.

This members only exhibition was juried by Jeanne Norman Chase and Douglas Tell. von Lazar’s photo “Vanishing” has an intriguing vantage point, as it was taken from the top of the Ringling Causeway. Nancy is a six year member of the Art Center Sarasota where her lifelong interest in art has blossomed over the past two years. The “Outside Looking In” exhibition will be open through October 23, 2010. The Art Center Sarasota is located at 707 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. Their hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10am – 4pm.
von Lazar, a University of Michigan graduate, has been a Sarasota resident for 20 years and is well versed in the popular photographic sites around Sarasota. Prior to her move to Florida, she was a Realtor with the Greater Boston Real Estate Board in Winchester, MA (Ann Blackham & Company Real Estate) and also with Better Cities Realty in Cambridge, MA.
