Thomas Buchter, President and CEO announced following completion of the fiscal year June 30, 2010 audit, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens has ended the year with revenues exceeding expenses for the first time since 2003.
This first step in achieving financial stability was accomplished through hard work and increased contributions. We wish to acknowledge the extra effort of the board of trustees, staff and volunteers. Our increase in contributions came from members, support from local foundations and local, state and federal government funding.
