[1]Longboat Key – Lido Key – St. Armands Key Chamber of Commerce Launch Triathlon.
Sunday, October 24, 2010 the Longboat Key Chamber of Commerce will hold the island’s first ever triathlon and duathlon. Hosted at the Longboat Key Club & Resort, the endurance event will start at 7:30am and include a half-mile swim, 20-mile cycling ride and five-mile run. Duathlon distances will be a 2 mile run, 20 mile bike and 2.5 mile run. 500 participants are projected for this inaugural event.
Transition closes at 7:10am

Mandatory race packet pick up is scheduled during the Expo: Saturday, October 23rd from 2-6PM. Expo held at the Longboat Key Club and Resort (Islandside).
