[1]Adopt-a-Child Holiday Program.
Each year, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County’s Adopt-a-Child program provides gifts of new clothes, toys, food and other items to our most needy children. Over the years, the program has allowed an opportunity for many selfless and compassionate people in the community to share in the holiday spirit by sponsoring or adopting a child.
As a sponsor, there are two ways you can offer support:
1. We will send you a family profile and ask you to purchase essential items requested by your adopted child. The suggested spending guideline is $75 per child. All items should be unwrapped with a tag attached so we know who the gifts go to. Our elves will then wrap the presents and attached your tag. Gifts will need to be delivered to the Boys & Girls Clubs by Monday, December 13, 2010.
2. If you would like to adopt a child but may not have time to shop, a volunteer will do the shopping for your adopted child.
