Siesta Key Home Sells For $5.9 Million.

A Siesta Key waterfront home listed by Kim and Michael Ogilvie and co-listed with Michael Hays, all of Michael Saunders & Company, became the benchmark sale of the year for the Southwest Florida market area. The Ogilvies, the firm’s top-producing team of agents, also represented the buyer of the property.

The West Indies inspired, 7,931 square feet under air, home located on Norsota Way sold for $5.9 million, making it the highest sale of the year thus far in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte Counties. 

Built in 2009 the property includes deep water harborage, a separate guest house and a dramatic skyline view of downtown Sarasota and the Ringling Bridge across a wide expanse of open water. 

The Ogilvies are the team behind a number of benchmark luxury sales in recent years.  Their $6.4 million sale in the Sanderling Club was the largest sale of 2010 on Siesta Key; and their sale of another Siesta Key property for $8 million was the top sale of 2008 in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte Counties. 

Since 2003, Kim and Michael Ogilvie have sold 292,480,000, an average of more than $36.5 million in annual sales.
