As we welcome in a new year, I am optimistic for a great 2011 due to our success in 2010. The 15 year anniversary of the first home sold in Lakewood Ranch was a top sales year with close to 250 new home sales. By the end of the first quarter of this year, Lakewood Ranch will have 50 furnished models by 15 different builders — more models and builders in one location than any other developer in the state. You will also see more new neighborhoods popping up in 2011, including an age targeted community — the first one in Lakewood Ranch.
Then in April, we will open the Lakewood Ranch Sports complex — a facility that will house 22 contiguous soccer fields to host sporting events from around the community, the nation and the world. Don’t blink, because 2011 will be full of new ideas, innovation, and a few surprises from all of us here at SMR.
