Adams Group, a manufacturer and installer of interior architectural casework, announced that the company was named the exclusive dealer for Mott Manufacturing in Florida and Georgia.

We look forward to working with Adams Group to deliver the very best in laboratory furniture solutions throughout Florida and Georgia.”
Mott Manufacturing of Ontario, Canada, has been designing and manufacturing quality steel laboratory casework and fume hoods since the early 1960s. With its products installed worldwide in numerous health care, research, industrial, pharmaceutical and educational facilities, Mott Manufacturing is a leader in the production of custom wood and steel casework as well as lab furniture for these demanding industries.
The announcement is the latest good news for Adams Group, which relocated recently from Punta Gorda to a new 50,000-square-foot facility on six acres in North Port. The company also hired eight employees in December 2010, as part of a plan to grow its staff from 75 to 165 employees. The new jobs, which pay an average salary of $45,000, will include drafters, engineers, systems administrators and general laborers.
With two production lines, the new high-tech facility enables Adams Group to expand its services, maximize production and improve turnaround time. It also is more efficient and produces less waste than the old facility, allowing the company to continue to make environmental responsibility a top priority.
“We have invested over $2 million in machinery and technology, and we have some of the most technologically advanced equipment in the United States,” said Adams Group’s CEO, Ethan Adams. “That means we can process cabinet parts with greater efficiency, increased accuracy and fewer errors, which is so important in laboratory and medical environments. By partnering with industry leader Mott Manufacturing, we’ll be able to bring the best products and services to that demanding market.”
As part of this commitment to environmental responsibility the company is accredited by the Forestry Stewardship Council, an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization established to promote responsible management of the world’s forests. Adams Group has also completed more than 50 LEED certified projects.
