Matthew Anderson, founder and president of Sarasota’s Milestone Marketing Associates, will serve as the 2011 vice-president of the Suncoast Technology Forum (STF) after being elected by the group’s board of directors.
“I am honored the board elected me to serve as vice-president this year,” says Anderson. “I’ve long had an interest in the issues of technology and innovation as they relate to business, and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to encourage and assist technology entrepreneurship in the Sarasota and Manatee county area.”
Paul Hoffman, President of STF, said, “Matthew is a great example of STF’s passion to unite individuals in the technology field together. Matthew’s prior experience and enthusiasm is something we are all looking forward to having on our team. The Board is confident that Matthew will aid STF in continuing to be a successful association.”
Anderson’s company, Milestone Marketing Associates, is a young, rapidly growing full-service marketing firm based in Sarasota and focusing on the information technology sector. Before founding Milestone in 2009, Anderson was the vice president of marketing at Quest Solutions, Inc., a Sarasota company that developed takeoff and estimating software for the construction market.
