[1]Young Builders Network To Participate In 2nd Annual Barkitecture Fundraiser.
The Young Builders Network (YBN) of the HBA Manatee-Sarasota will put together a custom designed and built dog house for the 2011 Barkitecture fundraiser. The fundraiser benefits Southeastern Guide Dogs. This goal oriented group of young professionals has already begun the design and engineering process, and has shown a tremendous amount of enthusiasm for their first charitable event of the year.
The YBN is currently seeking individuals and organizations who wish to contribute supplies needed for the construction of their project. For information on how to donate supplies to YBN contact the Council Chairman, Crystal Holtzclaw, with Whetstone Engineering at (941) 812-0073.
All dog house entries must be submitted no later than April 1, 2011. The fundraiser takes place May 14, 2011, with all creations being displayed around the area in prominent locations. Each design entered will have its own web page where voters can cast $1.00 votes for the People’s Choice awards before the live auction takes place.
