The South Florida Museum presents Nowhere Boy as part of the Film Fridays London Calling series 6pm on April 1, 2011.

(2010) R, 98 minutes.  Sam Taylor-Wood’s Nowhere Boy is a highly entertaining and witty feature about the formative years of John Lennon through his first musical collaborations with Paul McCartney. It is about coming-of-age and leaving home, as well as the radical changes in post-war British life. The film was nominated for four BAFTA Awards, including one for Taylor-Wood’s direction and Best Supporting Actress nominations for Kristin Scott-Thomas and Ann-Marie Duff.

There will be a selection of beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks available for purchase.  Please note: The theater may be cold, sweaters or jackets are recommended.  Admission is $5 General Admission, $3 Member Admission.
