[1]Shark’s Tooth Festival To Host Over 100 Vendors And 8 Bands.
The 19th Annual Venice Shark’s Tooth Festival is April 8 – 10, 2011. The festival is held at the City of Venice Airport Festival Grounds located at 120 E. Airport Avenue. The Festival opens Friday, April 8 at 4:00 p.m., including an evening performance by the Billy Rice Band and will close to the tunes of The Crashers, Sunday, April 10 at 5:00 p.m. The admission is $3 per person or free for children 12 years of age and under.
All festival proceeds benefit Special Olympics of Sarasota County whose mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for persons eight years of age and older with intellectual disabilities.
