[1]The Jewish Federation Establishes Relief Fund For Japan.
After the strongest earthquake in Japan’s history, a magnitude 8.9, a 10-meter high tsunami hit and devastated parts of the country. Thousands are feared dead and there have been over 100 aftershocks in Japan.
[2] The earthquake also triggered tsunami waves that have hit Hawaii and the West Coast of the United States.
Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by this natural disaster. We are working with Jewish Federations of North America, in partnership with American Joint Distribution Committee, to set up an emergency relief fund to help those affected by the earthquake and tsunami.
