Icard, Merrill, Cullis, Timm, Furen & Ginsburg announced that attorney Alyssa Nohren was made a full shareholder of the firm. Nohren joined Icard Merrill in 2006 and focuses her practice on residential and commercial real estate transactions, real estate litigation and mobile home law.

“We are happy to welcome Alyssa Nohren as a shareholder at Icard Merrill,” said Bob Lyons, president of the firm. “During her more than five-year tenure here, she has proven herself to be a highly skilled and knowledgeable advocate for the clients. She has quickly become not only an integral part of the Icard Merrill team, but also someone who is very involved in community service, which is an important tradition at Icard Merrill.”

An alumna of University of Florida, Nohren is a member of the Florida Bar, the Sarasota County Bar Association, Judge John M. Scheb American Inns of Court and the 12th Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee. She was recently honored by Legal Aid of Manasota for Outstanding Service by a Mentor and as a Rising Star on the 2010 listing of Florida Super Lawyers, a publication that includes no more than 5% of the lawyers in the state. Nohren is active in numerous civic and non-profit groups, including board positions with the Sarasota County Bar Association, the Cancer Support Community (formerly The Wellness Community) and PACE Center for Girls in Bradenton.
