[1]Virtuoso Announces Godspell Cast.
The Virtuoso Performing Arts Theatre brings its 4th Broadway style production to town with their performance of Godspell, April 21-24 @ the Retreat Auditorium in Bradenton. One incredible aspect of the show is that Virtuoso has hired the world renowned pianist, Randy Estelle to lead the band. Estelle was a college friend of Steven Schwartz who was the principle writer for the musical and is honored to be performing his friend’s music for this production.Virtuoso is pleased to announce its principle cast members for its upcoming production of Godspell.
The cast is headlined by John Henderson who will portray the part of Jesus. Henderson is fresh off touring with Disney Live in both Asia and Australia. His other theatrical work includes leading dramatic and dance roles in Sole Pursuit and Way of Life.
Joining the cast will be Jeremy Demers who plays the role of John the Baptist and Judas. Demers is an accomplished singer and songwriter who currently performs throughout Florida.
