[1]Holocaust Boxcar On Display At Sarasota Military Academy.
One of the actual boxcars used to transport victims of the Holocaust to Nazi concentration and death camps is on display at the Sarasota Military Academy campus through Thursday, May 5th. A special opening ceremony for the boxcar is scheduled for Thursday, April 28th, from 12:30pm-1:30pm at the academy.
This special artifact is part of an educational outreach program which is open to all Sarasota and Manatee County middle and high school students, courtesy of The Jewish Federation.
The Sarasota Military Academy is located at 801 North Orange Avenue in Sarasota.
