2011 Bologna ArteFiera (Bologna Art Show)

One of the largest art exhibitions in the world, the Bologna ArtFiera attracted over 31,000 visitors on opening day alone. Well known collectors were among the attendees visiting the more than 200 galleries from all over the world. On display were paintings, sculptures, photography, ceramic works, graphic designs, books and more. ArteFiera transforms Bologna into an international art capital bringing in art lovers from all over the world. The show ran from January 28th through Janurary 31st, 2011.
My friend, Giovanni Lunardi, makes the trip every year. Giovanni searches out new galleries to display his artwork, looks at how art is evolving and takes in new photographic techniques. Possibly next year he may have his own gallery at the show. Enjoy his artistic view of ArtFiera. Until we meet again, “chow”.
