Complimentary Giving Consultation
All Faith Food Bank Foundation, Inc. was established to provide a permanent endowment in support of All Faiths Food Bank’s mission of feeding the hungry. The Foundation provides a vehicle for supporters of the Food Bank who wish to leave a legacy in support of that mission.
Endowment Facts
Each legacy gift to All Faiths Food Bank Foundation, Inc., provides significant support:
• $10,000 provides 270 meals to our Kids Café program, each and every year.
• $20,000 provides 800 pounds of food at our Saturday Pantries, assisting the “working poor” families of our community, each and every year.
• $30,000 provides holiday dinners to over 90 families, each and every year.
• $40,000 provides 1100 meals to the Veterans in need through our Veterans Appreciation Program each and every year.
• $50,000 provides backpacks of weekend food for 200 homeless children for a school year, each and every year.
There are many ways in which you may endow a legacy In the All Faiths Food Bank’s Foundation. They Include:
LIFETIME GIFT OPTIONS: cash, appreciated securities, IRA required minimum distribution directed payment, gifts of old life insurance policies, charitable gift annuities, and irrevocable trust arrangements (i.e. charitable remainder trusts).
GIFTS AT DEATH: bequests under your will or trust, including bequests of specific assets, interests in various trust arrangements, (i.e. charitable remainder trusts), and gifts of retirement plan assets (avoiding taxation of accumulated income).
All Faiths Food Bank Foundation, Inc. and its Board of Directors consist of long-time supporters of the Food Bank and professionals from the estate, tax and financial planning community. Volunteers from among these professionals are available for confidential charitable planned giving consultation, at no cost.
