Signature Sotheby’s International Realty announced the sale of the historic El Patio Hotel in Venice, Florida for $2,195,000. [1] The hotel, listed in the National Register of Historic Places, is located on West Venice Avenue. El Patio is the only remaining operational hotel in downtown Venice. The circa 1927 Mediterranean revival-style building was representative of commercial architecture of that time and had been continually owned and operated by the Miles Family since 1949.
Signature Sotheby’s International Realty represented both sides of the transaction. Courtney Green and Patty Wheeler represented the seller while Bonnie Price and Richard Bradway represented the buyer.
