The American Cancer Society announced that WWSB ABC 7 Anchor Lauren Dorsett is the Event Chair for the American Cancer Society- Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on October 22nd 2011. Dorsett joined the WWSB ABC 7 family in April of 2010. “I’m thrilled to be a part of MSABC this year! Fighting breast cancer is not only a cause close to my own family, but so many across the suncoast. I’m humbled to take a leadership role in this year’s walk and to be working alongside so many inspiring women.”

Walk and help raise funds for research, education and support initiatives for breast cancer patients along the Suncoast.
It’s more than just a walk, All the different Making Strides Against Breast Cancer fundraising events describes the progress we’re making together to save lives in Sarasota and Manatee by helping people get well, stay well, find cures and fight back.
