Kantor Eye Associates announced they were selected to introduce the world’s first and only electronic focusing eyewear to the Florida Suncoast. The revolutionary eyewear, emPower eyeglasses by PixelOptics, is the single most significant advancement in prescription lenses in 50 years.
Combining sophisticated lens design with the latest in electronics innovation, emPower is designed to replace traditional progressive lenses. emPower lenses utilize a layer of transparent liquid crystals, similar to those used in HD TVs, to electronically change the optical properties of the lenses. Unlike fixed lenses emPower glasses enable the wearer to control vision according to their needs.
